Only users with a subscriber account have the ability to add or remove courses from the platform. There are two types of courses that can be added: Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Knowledge (PK) courses.
Continuing Education Units (CEU) courses
Typically, courses approved by various organizations that are offered for credit, needing a certificate of completion, rating mechanism, and attendance reporting where applicable. To add a course, follow these steps:
- Sign in with your subscriber credentials to www.ceuevents.com
- Click on Courses
- Click on +Course
- Select CEU under Type
- Add the course Title
- Add the course Description
- Add the course Learning Objectives
- Course Length (in hours) - Our system will automatically convert the hour(s) into a credit value depending on the approving organization requirements
- Select the Accepted by organizations that the course is approved by. You will be able to add course code and/or expiry date where applicable.
- Select the Instructor(s) that you want to grant access to the course
- Select Yes under Enabled
- Click on SAVE
- Attach file(s) that you want the instructors to have access to.
- Inform your Instructors about the new course.
NOTE: We require the Attendance Slide at the end of your presentation(s) in order to take advantage of paperless attendance recording using the Event Code method.
Professional Knowledge (PK) courses
Courses that are not approved but serve as educational resources for professionals can still be tracked for attendance and feedback purposes. These courses may include, but are not limited to, product knowledge courses, factory tours, and more.
- Sign in with your subscriber credentials to www.ceuevents.com
- Click on Courses
- Click on +Course
- Select PK under Type
- Add the course Title
- Add the course Description
- Course Length (in hours) - Our system will automatically convert the hour(s) into a credit value depending on the approving organization requirements
- Select the Instructor(s) that you want to grant access to the course
- Select Yes under Enabled
- Click on SAVE
- Attach file(s) that you want the instructors to have access to.
- Inform your Instructors about the new course.
