The CEU Events Team provides essential tools and guidelines to ensure accurate attendance recording during each seminar. Below are the details and recommendations for conference organizers and presenters:
Unique Attendance Recording Slide
For each seminar, the conference organizer will be provided with a unique Attendance Recording Slide that includes an unique Event Code. Presenters must have this slide ready at the end of their presentation. The slide will display a QR code that attendees can scan with their mobile devices to register.
Attendance Recording Guide
In addition to the Attendance Recording Slide, CEU Events will provide an 'Attendance Recording Guide' for each seminar. This guide can be passed around the room alongside the Attendance Recording Slide at the end of the seminar.
Recommended Process During the Seminar
- Start with delivering an awesome presentation!
-
When a speaker completes their presentation, they should pause on the Attendance Recording Slide.
-
Attendees can scan the QR code on the slide with their mobile devices to register their attendance.
-
If the QR code is not accessible, attendees should be directed to https://www.ceuevents.com/attendance and enter the unique event code included on the Attendance Recording Slide and Guide.
-
Attendees can complete the registration process by signing into their CEU Events account or creating a free attendee account, which grants them access to download their certificate of completion.
- As a presenter, you must ensure the above steps are completed by the end of the seminar. Plan for about three minutes to complete this process.
Important Note: Display or provide the event code only when the attendees have earned their credit. Most organizations require 50 minutes of attendance to receive 1 hour of credit.
Printed Attendance Reporting Guide
Make sure the Attendance Reporting Guide is printed and readily available in the seminar room to assist with attendee questions or any potential AV system issues. This guide includes all the necessary information for attendees to register and receive their certificate of completion and/or credit.
Ensuring Proper Registration
Speakers and/or conference organizers must ensure attendees properly register with the unique event code at the end of each seminar. This will ensure that all attendees receive their certificates instantly, and if required, the credits are reported to various organizations.
