CEU Events provides instructors with couple of methods to facilitate attendee registration during or after an event. These methods offer flexibility and convenience, allowing instructors to efficiently manage and track attendee participation. In this article, we will explore the various approaches that instructors can utilize to accomplish during and post-event attendee registration, ensuring a smooth and streamlined experience for all involved.
Please ensure that all attendance is recorded promptly after the event concludes, as we are obligated to adhere to the organization's rules and report attendance no later than 7 days after the event date.
Method 1 - Using the Paperless Attendance Recording Slide
Our staff ensures that the Paperless Attendance Recording Slide is included in all of your presentation files at the end. However, please remember to update the unique event code before presenting. You can find the event code on the event details. When you reach the slide, it is important to explain to the attendees that they must follow the steps displayed on the screen in order to receive their credit or certificate of completion. If you need the Paperless Attendance Recording Slide for your PowerPoint presentation, you can find and download it at the bottom of this page.
The attendee account is necessary for them to retrieve their certificate. By following this process, attendees can conveniently access their certificates through their CEU Events attendee accounts.
The instruction should be as follow:
- Go to https://www.ceuevents.com/attendance
- Enter the provided event code
- Continue to 'View My Events' where you will be able to retrieve your certificate
Note: Ask attendees to complete the steps above before leaving the event to ensure that everyone's attendance is properly marked, and they can receive their credit and/or certificate.
If you are accustomed to distributing the 'sign-in sheet,' you may want to consider using the 'Attendance Reporting Guide for Instructors' in conjunction with the Paperless Attendance Recording Slide.
Once the above steps are completed, the attendees will appear on your attendee list and will be marked as 'Attended'. Their certificates will be instantly available for download through their attendee account, allowing them to access their proof of attendance conveniently. Additionally, our staff will be able to accurately report the attendance information, ensuring a seamless record-keeping process. Furthermore, with this streamlined process, there is no need for manual data entry on your end.
Note: The event code must be provided exclusively to attendees who have completed your session.
Method 2 - Using the Email Engine with Contact Lists
In cases where you receive a list of attendees outside of our system (typically an Excel file with attendee info) or need to send email reminders after the event for attendees to register, you can make use of our email engine tool.
With this tool, you will be able to send bulk emails to attendees, providing them with instructions on how to register post event and obtain their credit and/or certificate of completion. You don't want to enter data manually; instead, provide them with instructions on how to register for a specific post-event.
- Convert the provided Excel file into a contact list. Make sure to only include the attendees who were present throughout the entire session.
- Click on Events
- Locate the event for which you want attendees to register and click on it.
- Click on the Share button, then Send button.
- Under 'Make a selection,' select 'Post event registration.'
- Under 'Recipients,' select the contact list you created in Step 1.
- Please click on 'Submit' to proceed.
An email will be processed and sent to the attendees.
Note: If you already have the attendee's contact information in your CRM/Email provider, you may simply copy the instructions from the 'Body' section for a particular event and send it via your CRM/Email, whichever is easier and more convenient for you.
