Managing Who Can Receive Requests
The "Request CEU Event" feature is specifically designed for trade professionals to locate and request an approved presenter for their upcoming office event. To enable this functionality, it is necessary to assign territories to your instructors. Conversely, if you wish to disable requests for a particular instructor, you can remove the territories assigned to that specific instructor.
As a Provider, there are two strategies for setting this up:
1. Hands-Off Approach
Assign territories to all of your instructors. This way, requests go directly to them and you retain the ability to monitor activity. This approach may speed up event conversion since instructors will be reaching out to requestors directly to discuss next steps.
2. Centralized Approach
If you prefer to receive all requests yourself and assign them to a particular instructor on a case-by-case basis, do not assign territories to individual instructors. Instead, assign territories only to your administrator account and manage all incoming requests from there.
Both strategies are used by our clients — the right choice depends on how much oversight you'd like to maintain.
Reassigning the Request to Another Instructor
To assign the request to a different instructor, simply click the 'Reassign' button and choose the desired instructor from the list. This is especially useful when one of your presenters is out of the office. Please note that an email notification will be sent to the newly assigned instructor.
Note: It is important to note that only instructors with assigned territories are able to utilize the "Instructor's Profile Page."
