CEU Events provides instructors with multiple methods to facilitate attendee registration during or after an event. These methods offer flexibility and convenience, allowing instructors to efficiently manage and track attendee participation. In this article, we will explore the various approaches that instructors can utilize to accomplish post-event attendee registration, ensuring a smooth and streamlined experience for all involved.
Please ensure that all attendance is completed as soon as the event concludes, as we are obligated to follow the rules set by the organization.
Method 1 - Using the Paperless Attendance Recording Slide
Our staff ensures that the Paperless Attendance Recording Slide is included in all of your presentation files at the end. However, please remember to update the unique event code before presenting. You can find the event code on the event details. When you reach the slide, it is important to explain to the attendees that they must follow the steps displayed on the screen in order to receive their credit or certificate of completion. The attendee account is necessary for them to retrieve their certificate. By following this process, attendees can conveniently access their certificates through their CEU Events attendee accounts.
The instruction should be as follow:
- Go to https://www.ceuevents.com/attendance
- Enter the provided event code
- Continue to 'View My Events' where you will be able to retrieve your certificate
Once the above steps are completed, the attendees will appear on your attendee list and will be marked as 'Attended'. Their certificates will be instantly available for download through their attendee account, allowing them to access their proof of attendance conveniently. Additionally, our staff will be able to accurately report the attendance information, ensuring a seamless record-keeping process. Furthermore, with this streamlined process, there is no need for manual data entry on your end.
Note: The Event Code must be provided exclusively to attendees who have completed your course.
Method 2 - Using the Email Engine
In case you have received a list of attendees outside of our system or need to send email reminders after the event for attendees to register, you can make use of our email engine tool. To learn more about this feature, click on Mastering Email Communication for CEU Events: A Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Email Engine and navigate to the 'Post Event Registration' section. With this tool, you will be able to send bulk emails to attendees, providing them with instructions on how to obtain their credit and/or certificate of completion. This feature offers a convenient and efficient way to communicate with your attendees and ensure a smooth post-event experience.
Method 3 - By Manually Entering the Data
The last resort should be to use this method as it is inefficient and unnecessarily time-consuming for the instructors. However, if you find it necessary to proceed with manual data entry, you can follow these steps:
- Navigate to the event details page.
- Click on the "Menu" button to access additional options.
- Select the "Add attendee" button to begin the manual data entry process.
- Enter the attendee's email. As you enter the email, the system will scan through your past events and contact list(s).
- If the attendee exists in your database, you will be able to click on the '+' button to add them.
However, if the attendee is not found in your database, you can click on the 'Add manually' button to enter their information manually. The 'Add manually' option is not advisable and should only be used as a last resort.
- After manually entering the required data, click on the 'Submit' button to save the information.
- Lastly, you will need to mark the added attendee as 'attended' using the Manual Attendance Process.
